As we're off to Toronto next week, we decided to get a guide book.
Well we gave up on the library (who wants to renew a library card) and went to chapters.
I am very happy with our new Toronto Insideout Guide!
Fits in my back pocket...
Has an "AMAZING" popout map feature (must see to belive)
Includes a (
classic toronto itinerary )

For shopping, be sure to check out Bloor (FCUK, Holt Renfrew, Zara, etc.) and/or Queen Street West (more unique apparel). Toronto also seems to have a TON of shoe stores (based on my recollection), so go wild!! BCE place is pretty cool, too. :)
Hope you guys have a great time!!

It was on hot-pink paper and came just before Christmas...
It read:
"For all cool people,
This reading week, Toronto is the place to be!
Flight sales from Westjet & Jetsgo make this a trip too affordable to turn down!
If you have friends nearby, make sure to visit mid week... Though beware, as mars will be in-line with the moon, increasing the risk of carelessness in the kitchen!"
So I figure as long as we stay out of c9 and leapfish way... all should be good :P
If I had known you didn't get the memo I could have e-faxed it to you (assuming you're one of the 6 to help cam on his way to a mac mini)... alas I'm sure you could find a last minute flight?!?

Oddly enough, for the past 3 weeks my friend James has been trying to convince me to head up to Kitchener with him on Monday, then stop in Toronto for Tuesday and Wednesday. Despite a strapped cash flow and a super-heavy to-do list at work, he essentially had me convinced last night. My plan was to request the vacation days at work today, until I remebered this morning that I have a written test for that job competition on Wednesday afternoon! Crappy, eh? :(
So, while *everyone on the planet* is partying it up in Toronto, I'll be at home studying in the lamest of fashions. *sigh* Perhaps next time around!
