So apparently, the feds decided it was worth their time and effort to send an actual agent to my apartment,* but not to return either of the calls I made requesting they tell me what the hell is going on.

I feel this is typical.

Oh, well. If it was important, I would know by now. I just hope my neighbor isn’t a spy.

It would be fantastically bad, but I'd totally watch it. Especially for the heartwarming end when the agent falls into a the hole and says he has to be left behind, only to be rescued by his animal pals.

That's not fair - I live in China for crying out loud, and I've never had government agents visit me! Why do you get all the fun?

This may seem out of the blue, but I have friended you, as I have been a steady reader of your work since your fanfiction.net days.

You see, I recently (or perhaps about a year ago) created a livejournal and then promptly abandoned it. But now I'm back and hoping to get some use out of this ol' thing.

I believe I've dropped you a few anonymous comments back in the day, but no longer.

Anyway, as to the actual topic of your post, I must say... that's really weird. Heh. Perhaps the aim of these agents' visit was just to raise doubts in your mind about your neighbors so you'll report them as soon as you notice any suspicious behaviors. I recommend keeping an eye out just in case the government is watching your every move.

Hey, thanks. Sorry it took me so long to answer this; I've been away from my email. Welcome to my rarely updated blog!
