Hum yeah I know strange title..

Anyway, in the last few months the idea of creating a character for Hetalia out of Transylvania(Erdély) has been gnawing at me. Once I settled down and finally found a good name for him I created this sketch.

I like the way you see Transylvania, with long hair and a thin mustache. He is really attractive.
But since there are three communities in Transylvania, would not it be better for him to have a Romanian first name (they are the descendants of the Dacians after all), a German second name (the Saxon settlers) and an Hungarian family name ? (or in another order ?).

I just created a livejournal account, to tell you how much I love you for drawing Transylvania in szekler wear. I do agree with lai_choi_san, he needs a Romanian name as well (even though the name reminds me of Mihai Viteazul, the first Romanian leader who united Transylvania with the other territories of Romania). I can imagine Transylvania waiting for Hungary to visit him and pissing Romania off with his accent and his half-Hungarian, half-Romanian words.

I'm also awfully late, but happy independence day Feliks:).

This isn't a request page. Stop trying to push the good old "Daco-Romanian" theory (<--- keep that word in mind ( ... )

I'm sorry if I offended you or the artist, I wasn't trying to push anything onto you, especially a theory I do not agree with. I just expressed my opinion; if the creator minds my comment, she can delete it. Also, I wasn't taught of the fact you described, thanks for the information:).

Of course I did not forget the Saxons, I just thought that the character may not need a German name (at this point), because sadly the majority of Saxons have left Transylvania.
