It seems that the issue of these chips will soon be a thing of the past.  Perhaps those called "scientists" were not truly interested in keeping their subjects so powerless.  No, it seems to be that they are much more interested in their worth, more than any sort of forced cooperation ( Read more... )

That would depend on the researcher.

In a sense, one could liken it to some sort of "higher being."

Is that the reason? There is nothing stopping you from evaluating such things-- but you believe that it is something you are "not allowed" to do. Why is that?

We all value people differently. I like my friends more than other people... But that doesn't necessarily mean that they're "worth" more than others.
