Death is simply part of the cycle of life for human raw materials-- there is little reason to find it something so frightening, especially when one takes into consideration the fact that you have all been given another chance.

Rather than dwelling on the events that have transpired, it would be useful to move forward.

You can't just expect people to 'move forward' from it so easily! Sure, I'm grateful that I'm alive again, but that doesn't make any part of this natural. How can you not find something like this frightening?!

Ah, my apologies-- it may be that something such as this is quite...common for one such as myself. Even so, there is little good that may come from holding fast to any fears regarding death.

That may be true, but... it's not exactly easy. Just trying to stop your fear of death. It's not easy.

What is it about death that you fear?

I wonder if it's the actual death that people are afraid of, or the way they die.

It's also possibly some of the uncertainty that lies in the whole idea of 'what comes next?'.

Though I am aware that it is quite normal for human raw materials to fear death in all its forms, as well as what takes place past that...they are already aware that what follows their death here is life, once again, thanks to the scientists.

Do you, too, hold any fears regarding death?

This place is pretty strange with that, but if you add in that sort of a factor. Then, it's probably just the shock that it happened that scares people.

Me?

I'm...not sure. My world, well, death is sort of strange there too. At least in thinking it's the end of everything.

If it is merely the fear of the events that transpired, that may be more understandable. Even so, danger is a constant here, perhaps even a natural part of life.

Why is that?

I suppose that may be one way to avoid this result, were something similar to take place.

Are you also willing to train the raw materials here for battle?

Fear isn't rational. You can't just say 'there's no reason to find something frightening' and expect it to be as easy as that. People - and emotions, I guess - are more complex than that.

I am sorry. Would it be more understandable to refer to the state of death itself as their fear? After all, it is, though present, only temporary here.

Even knowing that it's temporary.. the fear of death is something kind of built into humans, I think. I might know I'll come back, but that doesn't mean the thought of jumping off of a building isn't scary.

It is possible for that fear of death to be overcome, given time. As for the example...there are many reasons for that fear. In a sense, the reason for refusing to jump would be due to your sense of self-preservation, rather than any fear of what happens after you cease to live. That is the fear that I wonder about.

Most people would rather mope than move on. Guess there's not much else to do here, anyway.

They may better prepare so that they do not meet a similar fate were something such as this to happen again.

People here, prepared? Hah! Good one.

I assure you, I had no intention of being humorous. It truly would be in their best interests for the future, unless they wish to repeat recent experiences.
