So some crazy German bitch decides to kill herself by jumping out of a limo on the freeway...
The 405 freeway, to be specific.
Like a good and virtuous girl, I set the alarm for 7 am so I could be at my job interview by 9 am. Even Mapquested the directions the night before. Aren't I efficient and responsible? The directions sounded easy enough. Enter the 405 south at Fairview, head up about a half a mile, get on the 55 north, exit 17th St., etc. etc. Simple.
The police helicopters woke me up at about 6:15 am. I kept waiting for them to shut the hell up, but they didn't, so at 7 am I got up and trudged into the kitchen for some coffee. The tv was already on, and one of my housemates informed me that some crazy German had decided to kill herself by jumping out of her limo in the middle of the freeway. The 405 freeway. Right in front of the Fairview exit. The 405 was blocked off by the police while they investigated. Nobody was going fucking anywhere for like, a while.
If I were of a more sensitive disposition, I would take this as further evidence that god hates me.
Instead I took surface streets to the 55 and still got to my job interview on time. The interview went well; thanks for asking.
In other news, some other crazy chick helped her husband escape from a prison transport vehicle and killed a corrections officer in the process. I wonder if she knows it's a mandatory death sentence in a lot of states for killing a cop. Maybe not in Tennessee. One of my girlies was a little too excitable at this news. She was almost jumping up and down saying, "that was some straight gansta shit!" Yes it certainly was.
I spoke to spanksonic_miko and M. Simone Kross last night. They're in town at the moment but unfortunately we won't be able to hang. As usual, crazy busy.
Also, did a quickie little bondage shoot today and ate a sandwich. Yup.
In other news, happy Elvis' birthday everyone! The King is 70 today. :)
