Oops! A bunch of people schooled me about the fact that Elvis' birthday is January 8th, as opposed to yesterday as previously reported.

I think maybe yesterday was his death day. I am pretty sure he died in August.

When I got up, the tv news was saying that Elvis would have been 70 today and I could have sworn they said it was his birthday.

Just to clarify, Elvis was pronounced dead on August 16th.

Richard Nixon resigned the Presidency on August 8th in 1974 which I personally think is a great reason to celebrate.

Of course I am an old fart.
