I caved and bought a 360 and even though I dont have many games for it the possibilities excite me. They have some good looking games coming out for it. It looks to be a better purchase than the ps3 and I figured there would be a lot of games that would be coming out for both the ps3 and the 360 but not the Wii that I might want to play so I went with the one that looked to be a better investment... and cheaper.
Post the Gamertag, my man. I have but one question, did you get the extended warranty? You will be returning the piece of shit in September to get the cooler chipsets if it doesn't fail on you sooner. As much as I love my 360, I've pretty much given up hope on the current 90nm tech in it ever lasting. I don't care what Peter Moore says, that thing doesn't have a 3% failure rate, it has a 3% survival rate. For fuck's sake, out of the 30-40 odd people I know, all but my little bro (original launch unit) has had their's fail on em. I've usually got damn good luck when it comes to not having to purchase a replacement system (launch unit PSX and PS2 here) mostly because I take damn good care of my shit, but the 360 is just a shitty piece of hardware currently. Chris, who purchased his a scant 5 months ago just had his go bad. Its bullshit. I can understand if you fuck up and ruin the first 3-4 months of a hardware's life cycle. Shit happens. For the atrocious failure rate of these things 18 months after launch to still be sky high is
