You know, I actually pronounced Cipolla's name correctly last year when he first started writing for the Echo, but everyone else pronounced it differently so I assumed I was wrong. Hmph. :P

Girl, you're so anxious about the future - you have to know who's going to be friends with you in the future and you have to know what position you're gonna have in the future. This is gonna be a good exercise in patience for you.

Allow me to drop two completely different, yet totally similar philosophies about life:

---"So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today’s trouble is enough for today."--Christ, Matthew 6:34

---Back to the Future III:
-Jennifer: "But what does it mean?"
-Doc: "It means: Your future hasn't been written yet. No one's
has. Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good
one."

Look at that, I just used a Bible reference and a modern-day pop culture reference in the same conversation.

Okay, here's the response I promised! (It's been so long because I've been trying to figure out what to say...)

Thanks. :)

Never quit offering words of advice or encouragement--they're always welcome! I often let things that seem like a big deal to me fill my head and consequently lose temporary sight of the bigger picture. It often takes someone else to remind of things - like you did with those quotes - that I've known and just forgotten.

And I've rather enjoyed our semi-philosophical chats lately. I hope you haven't minded them. :)
