I read the first book online (naturally; I wouldn't ever pay for this swivel), and I was alternately bored, disgusted, enraged, and embarrassed.

Someone wrote an eloquent, scathing article that sums up exactly why this 'trilogy' is so loathsome and just plain WRONG.

That was a really good article. You wouldn't believe the waiting list for these books at the library!

I should probably mention that I haven't read the books, nor do I plan to. I don't like being one of those people who hate on books they haven't read, but I have read bits of it online (like on the "fifty shades of suck" tumblr) and those excerpts were enough to put me off.
