I should use this for something other than memes
So I got done through my first playthrough of RE5 just now. It was enjoyable, yeah. But you know...
I probably would've had way more fun if all three female characters didn't piss me off.
AI-Controlled Sheva is some kind of special, and by that I mean she's retarded in more ways that I can count. Any additional offline playthroughs that I do will either be on Amateur difficult or just plain online co-op because... fuck playing with her in the harder modes. God I miss Ashley, at least I could tell her to hide in a dumpster somewhere, and didn't fail so much at being useful.
Jill, only really made me rage during the first fight against Wesker. It's bad enough that I had to last 7 minutes against that hax of a boss, but throw in an annoying "minion" that keeps shooting at me but I can't kill? Not so much with the fun. Add to that the fact that she kept killing Sheva while I was busy with Wesker and you've got yourself a really fun time. But without the fun.
Excella didn't make me rage so much. My feelings towards her are essentially "I'd take you more seriously if you weren't such an obvious tool, and put on some real clothes".
At least now I can focus less on RE5 and more on other games I need to play. Like Dead Space, The World Ends With You, and Batman: Arkham Asylum once it gets delivered.
