Hi, this is heidiweidel, and Evangeline asked me to post this little update about her so anyone who hasn't heard will know that she is safe and well despite being a Hurricane Katrina victim. By "victim" I should say that she evacuated safely, but that her home was destroyed by the floodwaters since she lived in St. Bernard Parish just outside New Orleans ( Read more... )

I'm am glad that you are okay and doing well despite the horrible Natural Disaster that had occured. I'm also sorry I haven't contacted you to wish you well before this.

I hope you had a good Christmas and wish you best wishes for the New Year. This year can't help be better than the last.

*squashes Grape Ape* I hope you had a good Christmas, too. It was different here, but nice, in a way, since I had no trouble figuring out what to get kidlet. He had next to nothing, so I could buy to my heart's content. I think I may have went a little overboard. *g*

We're doing fine. We're going to buy a house soon (hopefully) and everything will be upended again for a little while as we get adjusted to a new home, new town, new school (in the fall) for kidlet, etc., but I'm as ready for it as I can be.

And how are you? Are you still doing Sims stuff? Are you still living in the same place? I heard that they are predicting a lot of hurricanes this year along the Atlantic seaboard. I'll be praying for you.

I had a great Christmas and New Year. Right now school is keeping me really busy. I haven't had a lot of time for LJ.

Yep I still play the sims when I can and I still live in northern Georgia but well into the state and not near the coast. Also I live on a mountain so there is less chance of flooding. Thank you for the prayers.

I hope you are doing well and It was great to hear from you.

I'll bet you're happy this semester is almost over. Or, wait. You're school is on that different semester thingie, isn't it? Where there are 4 semesters per year instead of spring, summer, and fall? *scratches head* I can't remember.

Also I live on a mountain so there is less chance of flooding.

Ahhh, see, I was trying to convince the hubby we should move into the mountains in Tennessee, but he didn't go for it. *sigh* It must be really beautiful where you are. Is your college near your home?
