Just last night I had a conversation with a good friend of mine about this exact thing. He was saying how people shouldn't let things bother them and they would be much happier in life and a lot less stressed out. I dissagreed of course because it really is hard not to let things bother you. And reading this entry, I have seen that you don't really want to have things not bother you. Having emotion is one of the components that makes you who you are. Having a reaction to those things which spawns said emotion is one of the bases of those components. So if you willingly gave up the ability to have emotion about anything, then you would be this blank, bland, boring person. So I think what I'm trying to say is, I kinda understand the opposite of what you're going through and we need to fight for what we have lost (in your case your emotion and sense of reaction). I think fighting for those things will create again that emotion that some of us have temporarily misplaced.
i think that, come august, you won't have any of these burdens. because we'll be at UNT together. and that'll be all you need. but in the meantime, you can always talk to me.

In the meantime, perhaps not listening to this as depressing as "Last Five Years" will help. That show always makes me sad.
Know that you are loved and missed.
