Yeah, we had about 2 days warning. We're okay. I think it's a hit to the pride to get laid off, and Jeremy will take his time I'm sure. But this is very much a blessing. We've hoped to find a way to extricate ourselves from Los Angeles, and this is absolutely it.
I've wanted to leave LA for years, but J had such a great job, I couldn't imagine asking him to leave it for who-knows-what. But this gives us that opportunity. We'd both like to move out of the country, but that'll take some planning. His friends at work suggested we buy two round-the-world tickets and do something enjoyable while the recession does it's business. That's starting to sound pretty good.
