But NQH voted for Nader? O.o I don't think I've ever known anyone who had voted for Nader. And I may not know NQH, but this is the closest I've come to knowing someone who has voted for Nader.

NQH votes for Nader because 1) Nader is much more economically and socially left than Obama; and 2) because he dislikes the 2-party system we're locked into, and this is his way of protesting. I remind him every 4 years that his protest is largely futile because the US will never embrace a 3rd party until we go to a direct-election system, but he doesn't care.
I actually prefer Nader's (or another Independent or Green) views on most issues, but since I'm in a "battleground state" I'm not taking any chances that McSame/Painful will get elected.

The UK has three parties, for example (at least that I know of, there might be more minor ones that have the odd seat in Parliament), but the Liberal Democrats don't have a hope of getting the MP seat, just seats in Parliament, so it's kind of a 2.5 party system.
But high five! I considered claiming my dad's address as my own instead of my mom's, because he lives in Florida so my vote would have more (or less, lol) of a chance of counting. But I realized that after I registered soooo maybe next time? lol. But YAY for being in a battleground state and voting for the good guy!
