school stuff, take 3?

Ever since I quit going to school 2 years ago I've been idly contemplating what I wanted to do next. I really like learning and would like to get a degree at some point but I think my last run in with college assured me that actually being on campus just doesn't work for me ( Read more... )

learning (even without the degree for proof) is never a waste of time.

I am waiting for you to suggest the second visit.

now that I know you are more flexible than you said you were, we can get more active with the yoga.

that and cat knock out drops. is she susceptible to catnip?

Heh, no she gets all spazzy on the nip.

Sundays are best for me so how about maybe getting together on the 11th?

I agree that education even without getting a degree has value. I hope the online version works well for you.

I know for me, that the last time I attended classes, I powered through them because I had a specific goal in mind. (This would be the one year certificate in accounting I went for so that I could get job that did not involve customer service.)

If you're going for a specific degree or certificate, make sure to keep checking the required courses every quarter because schools change the requirements all the time and never bother to tell the students until the very end when they pull this annoying little stunt of telling you that you're short the required credits and you just need to stay for x number of quarters to get them. The alternative is to get - in writing - the exact course list you must have to get that degree/certificate as of the time you enrolled. They can't really argue with their own paperwork.
