Three Weeks

For the first time, I've decided that I'm going to miss some of these people. I always knew I would miss having people around all the time, and being able to walk down the hall to see my friends. Now, I realized I'm going to miss specific things in people. Not that I'm not glad that I'm moving out of Chad. No, that is definitely a good thing

I think we're all realizing the same thing: that as much as we want to get out of here for 3 months, we've grown attached to this place. More like the people in this place, probably. I'll miss seeing familiar faces in the Chad caf and the elevator. Is it just me, or do you finally feel settled here, like you have a circle of friends, and now we have to say goodbye? I think that's why I'm not as psyched about leaving as I should be...maybe I'm weird, I don't know. Somehow, we became best friends with people who were strangers to us only 8 months ago. People had never heard of a year ago. I don't know about you, but I'm really going to miss hearing the familiar laughs, annoying phone ringers, and drama of 7 west. I'll miss you this summer; I really hope that we'll still hang out next year even tho you're too cool for Chadbourne. :-P see you around...
