Why is it, of all the films in all the multiverse, the one that resonates with me (and has for years) in particular is "Apocalypse Now"? Such that I -must- see it yearly, and each year go "Oh, NOW I get it".... It isn't THAT good a film....

We did in fact miss you! And I haven't actually seen Apocalypse now.

By the way, have you seen Stardust yet? It is wonderful, absolutely wonderful, even if it doesn't follow the book to the letter. They did a fabulous job, and you'll never look at Robert DeNiro the same again! ♥

As far as other movies go, The Last Legion was pretty good, too. A new take on how Arthurian legends came to pass.
