R.I.P. Desmond Dekker

My favorite reggae artist and one of my favorite vocalists of all time, Desmond Dekker has passed away. I am so lucky that I got to see him before he died. He was brilliant and a phenomenal performer up until the very end. He died Thursday morning while at home in England.

ah man, you missed a really great show. He was still as active and brilliant as ever. I was so happy to be able to shake that man's hand. Best reggae/ska show I've been to, hands down.
