I was thinking about what I would call any children I had, came up with
Girls-
Elizabeth
Joanna
Emma
Emily
Eleanor

Boys-
David
William
possibly James

Not under /any/ circumstance-
Damien (conjours up images of spotty spoilt brat bully)
Darren (ditto)
Daniel (bully)
Tracy (Essex girl!)
Kylie (ditto)
Brooklyn (plain silly and pointless)
Tottenhamhotspur (ditto)
Malengidopitofraterzantolibdo (even sillier and I'd never remember it)

Rather boring really. Interesting names are best for middle names :-) (Ernest, Zadok, Zebedee, Zebediah, Inanna, Isolde, Iseult, Esyllt, Hildegard...)

*grin* Spiffy. I'd definitely keep Isolde for the middle names if I were you, otherwise it might be a bit er, incestuous ;)

And I actually think Daniel sounds rather sweet and fragile, but if you shorten it to Dan that's a different matter altogether...
