Sooo, the opera house theatre co. called me today-

to offer me a part in the ensemble for Cinderella!

HEY!  I'm allllll for it!

Grease was going to be pretty inconvenient and sketchy anyway with it running through september and everything-
I'd have gotten a little tired of that.

BUT! The ensemble, even, that's great!  I'm so excited!

Opera House Theatre Company will start letting everyone know this coming Monday of the casting for Gypsy, Cinderella, and Grease-

Soooo I get to think about it for another week, but that's OK!  Because it means they haven't written me off yet!

The audition, you ask?

Saturday, my buddy and I went to Opera House in Wilmington to audition for their summer rep...

Gypsy, Cinderella, and Grease.

The first part of the audition is singing-

"I got the sun in the morning"-Annie Get Your Gun

they ask me if I would be able to come back on the weekends once school starts to do performances

So I'm going out of town this weekend

mostly for this audition on saturday-

it's the confidence thing, I keep telling myself-

and I've been told,

I have to get over it.  It's not exactly a choice.

I'm amazed at the people who have encouraged me, and my confidence.

They surely don't know how much I appreciate them.

there's been lovely weather the past couple of days-
yesterday was...heavy...in general...and very long and eventful-
today desires to be tough on me.
I could simply put on a bathing suit and lie around outside
and do nothing until my rehearsals-
give me time to do some writing,
do some relaxing-
and I will eventually get some work done.
