Wednesday was my birthday (I'm 23 or don't ask) and yesterday I got the BEST PRESENT EVER in the form of a new job. I've been unemployed since November and really too stressed out about the financial situation to want to discuss it here, or really, anywhere. I hope that you keep your expectations of the church grounded, because it sounds like you have an unusually generous ward. I would like to think that all who call themselves LDS would help like your ward has, but in my experience, you are very lucky with just how generous and kind your ward is. Heavenly Father is looking out for you.
