So last week we discovered mold growing on the wall of the bedroom. By looking around the house I determined that it could be caused by faulty outside siding

Unfortunately I only have a mold horror story. The lesson of the story being: get yourselves checked out medically as living with mold can have some rather toxic effects on your body.

As above - all I can say is Be Very Careful. I think I mentioned my mother's mold horrors.

Sooner rather than later is definitely a good move, and I am not kidding about the offer of N95 masks. >.>

Sorry to hear it. There are apparently mold reducing paints you could investigate. Take care of yourselves, and choose safe methods.
