Cody and Jerry rock

Aug 08, 2005 20:17

We went to target to look at ipods and so they could figure out which on to get me, but Cody decided to buy it then, so now I have a mini ipod. yay!
so now I just have to convince gremlin to let me install the software on her computer so I can get music off her computer, since she has more music than most people have vocabulary.

Of Course they rock. They are just really cool like that.

I love Simon. (My mini) You have to let me know what you named it and what color it is.
Say hi to the crew for me. I've called a few times to say hi, but have always managed to get the answering machine.

I never cared much for ipods. They seem kinda pointless to me.

I opted instead to get a CD player that will also play mp3 discs. In my opinion, it's much cooler.

That's just me.

It holds so much more than a disk can though. An there is less bulk to an ipod mini than to a cd player. Simon can play over 8 hours worth of music in one sitting before needing to be charged. The most battery life I ever got out of a cd-player was 2-3 hours tops.

Then again, I am biased. Simon enables me to carry my entire DD collection with me.

yah, but then if you want to listen to different stuff, you have to carry multiple cd's. the ipod is smaller and more compact, kind of a one stop shop for your music, if you will.

True... but one CD can hold something like ten hours of music. So I only need one disk to keep me entertained at a time. Since I'm rarely away from home for longer than that, I don't need to take my whole collection with me.

I think I have more music than anyone has vocabulary and there should be No problem putting the software on my comp.
We just have to hope I don't have to (fingers crossed knock on wood and all that JAZZ) reformat my computer in the near future.

Are you worried you won't have any place to put all your music should you have to reformat?

NO I am more concerned about having to reload the soft ware when I have to Reformat
