okay. so im wicked excited for soul fest. i leave at 8 on thursday morning and as far as it goes... im ecstatic about it!!!! this is my first time and im still new at this youth group thing so its a new thing for me so i hate people making it seem like an awful situaiton! if you are unhappy about going dont ruin it for hte rest of us.. im seriously

youth group is what people make it to be. it can be awesome if they want it to be that way, or they can sulk in their "misery" and say it sucks, give reasons for it, and decide not to come. my opinion: those people don't come for faith reasons, and that's just kinda . . . no - it's really stupid. not just kinda. so don't worry about those people. they're either part of the problem or part of the change.

and i'm glad you're having an awesome time there. cuz you should.

hun everything will be ok! i think i am a bit upset with people in your youth group. they are supposed to be helping you and answering your questions. they shouldnt be knocking you. im sure most have been going to church since they were like 1 so they should understand this is all new to you! dont worry hun, i'll beat them up if they are mean to you (even though that is so not-christian-like...teehee).

laura im sorry if im one of those people. i dont mean to be, and im sorry if its because of people like me that you're not fully pumped. im estatic that you're coming, and its just what amelia said. it can be awesome if you want it to be. just dont let anyone rain on your parade. you obviously have a great attitude that is showing how we all should be acting and arent. dont get discouraged though, cuz you can be the sun if you want to.
