Make the number 24 using only these numbers once each: 1, 3, 4, 6. You may use only the following functions: +, -, *, /. This is not a trick question; for example, the answer does not involve a number system other than base 10 and does not allow for decimal points.

6/(1-(3/4))

You will be challenged much in the future for not getting that College Degree and/or will be severely challenged trying to get it later on. You could have had a Masters already and on your way to a Doctorate.

you are missing the point, getting a degree is not an intellectual challenge (part of the reason i lost interest and dropped out), thats what i was looking for here. and i dont think i will be "severely" challenged trying to get it later on.

maybe if you went to a good school you'd be intellectually challenged. also, staying interested is a challenge in itself-- one you obviously couldn't do since you dropped out

here's a few: edvard_munch March 21 2006, 20:12:08 UTC

1. Ante up on that manipulation of strong nuclear forces concept to create efficent energy you talked about not too long ago; or figure out a smarter way of producing energy beyond: a.boil water, b.make steam, c.turn turbine, d.spin magnet.

2. In 100 words or less, produce a statement that will convince Pat Robertson to give a Lebanese Planned Parenthood doctor felatio.

3. Figure out how to pay for a wedding while making everyone happy and without crippling yourself financially for the rest of your life.

4. Get a well-paying, respectable job without a college degree.

5. make that a legal one.

6. Make soup. And do it quickly. I'm starving.

1: that wasnt a way to create energy, only transport energy. it called for a new energy infrastructure. i figured out it would be very difficult to do in the immediate future, it would likely require densities beyond that of a black hole, not very good to have here on earth.

2: tell me who pat robertson is (if you had challenged me to find out who he is i would have googled his name, but i am too lazy to do this right now)

3: currently doing!

4: i could do this one, but i still plan on finishing my degree, i dont have long to go.

5: i do not do illegal things. well, most the time.

6: i cant.
