The scent of sulfur poisoned the air as several scaly, winged bodies flew towards the caves, wings sending huge buffets of air towards the rocky ground. Bright eyes glowed in the all-encompassing shadow of night, multi-faceted gems, fresh from the stonecutter’s table. It was nearly impossible to make out their colorings or any distinguishing ( Read more... )

Addy, I love you, but I am going to kick you. It is is NOT twaNAno. It is just twano. Now doesn't that sound better??

Anyway, I'm glad that you are not completely scrapping it. Who knows, after you finish with twano *cough* you may find that you want to go in this direction instead.

Sigh. I think I'll just stick with SNC.

and that would be nice... but i doubt it. that would add like, an entire story that has to be told before the story that i want to tell. Sigh.

Gahh! SNC it is. :P

Haha, i wish my muse was a little more on the ball, just because this is ...well, not what I wanted to write.

I did not kill off a kiddie! *stamps foot* Giggle, she's actually my main character. ;)

You have a very evocative writing style. As a reader, I would trust you as a writer and want to read more. I actually have this little contest going on over at my blog (that's not why I posted here though--I found this because of google alerts, and I'm glad I did) but maybe you'll consider entering. Either way, job well done with this.

I love to connect with other writers. Maybe we can follow each other on twitter and discuss writing sometime. I like your style.
