omg. Caroline, I really think you should confront your mom about this. I know that she does it, I've seen her do it! And its horrible that she does. There is some good in your mother, she does somet things that are worth mentioning.....I can't think of any at the moment but I bet you there is some good in there however hard it is to believe right now.

Honestly, I think the best thing you can do, impossible as it may seem, is forgive her and let go. Don't hold on to pent up anger! There is nothing you can do to change her. Just know that you're better than her and that you're right, and try to let that be enough. Forgiving her isn't "letting her off the hook," it's being the bigger person. You are so much better than your mother, and I hate seeing her get to you like this.

And even though you couldn't call Michael, you can always call us! What my mommy said about always being welcome here if ever you can't stand to be at home still stands.
