Lovely weekend. Seemed like reunion time, in that a friend's band from Devon played a gig in Aldgate and my record label founder visited from Falmouth. He, Beth, Rob and I saw the enigmatic psych rock band Comets on Fire tear apart a tiny venue in Kilburn with raucous solo-ing and bombastic riffery. I was enormously drunk, to the point of hiccup-
