Thank you so much for making this, I adore that icon even more now that I see how much color you managed to add to it! And I love what you did with the text there. Amazing tutorial, really, thanks :)

This is gorgeous and it makes me want to go back and actually finish reading the 2nd Dark Tower, which is where I stopped :D

Oooh the books, or the graphic novels? It's really good--both, haha. The graphic novels kind of go back to the beginning, Roland as a boy, etc. I'm not a Stephen King fan, mostly because I can't handle horror and scary stuff--but I have lots and lots of respect for him for his Dark Tower :)

I only read the first book, not the graphic novel, but I'm very interested in it all and the graphic novels seem gorgeous. Did you perhaps read both?

Yep :) I read the first book in...something like 1997 or 1998. I never found the next books after that, but recently when King went back to finish the books, I finally found them and caught up and waiting for the next books. If you're a King fan, the later books will probably be a treat as there's a bit of overlap with his other books, too--that's one of the things I find super interesting.

The graphic novels are the most recent stuff, kind of a prequel of sorts since they start from way before the setting of The Gunslinger. It's ongoing, and I believe they are going to try and continue on into the actual books. The most recent one I saw (and bought) deals with events in The Gunslinger itself, up until just before he and Jake go into the mountains.
