Coloring Ramble

adsfkjaldskajsldkf this is amazing! Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together, I'm so incredibly grateful!

I've never tried converting anything to smart objects, so that's something completely new to me. And the advice to never merge layers is something I'm trying out now, because I always merge and then I want to change things, so I add more layers when I could just adjust previous layers. It would probably also help me keep the quality of my picture from lowering like it tends to do.

I've also started using a color balance layer after prepping my base image, which has helped so much in my coloring, so thank you for that little tip too! It's such a small thing, but it makes everything easier later on :P

Thank you again for putting this together! I really really appreciate it! XD

Yay, I'm glad it was useful! Smart objects are LOVE, seriously, I can't imagine making icons now without it lol. And yes, merging can definitely lower the quality, depending on how many things you eventually add to the icon :) it's easier to manage quality when things aren't merged :)
