Hi everyone :3 I decided to do a little bit of iconning again and the below is the result. There are seriously so many amazing challenges happening nowadays that I just bit and bullet and barrelled ahead with a "1 caps, 7 icons" challenge at the7days which I had never gotten around to submitting for back when I was still active (sorry!). OH MY!! These are super beautiful. *O*
I adore the vibrancy in #3, #5 and #9 very much. The blending in #6 is simply astonishing, and I adore the contrast between him in vintage/pale tones and her in stronger (?) colours. #1 is impressive, honestly. I love the full body cut, and I love the fact you opposed it to a close crop in the background. Also, SHADOWING [heart eyes emoji]. The blocking in #2 is mesmerising and the text placement in #8 is marvellous (as well as the actual choice of quote).

Thank you! ♥ I'm glad you like them :D The quote in #8 is my favourite quote in the film, I really had to resist putting it on every icon haha XD

Your light use and coloring on 5 is gorgeous and I love the crop/color/light on 3 and your composition on 6.

The composition in 2 is so thoughtful and wistful! Great detailing with the music notes! The blending in 6 is so wonderful, and I love the choice of her in color against his large b/w figure! The text work and levels in 7 are completely stunning. I just love the borders on the top and bottom, too! :D

...I was going to say that in the other maker's LJ entry but I realized just in time it would look weird to hijack her post, so

And thank yewwww this was at the peak of my Mattias Schoenaerts attraction so I was pretty much watching this movie over and over again lol. But I couldn't figure out how to icon him D: so I just iconned them together. LOL. 7 is my somewhat underappreciated baby lol so I'm super pleased you like it!

7 is underappreciated? Are the people who look at your work generally blind? Interesting. Must make virtual glasses for all members of icon community. It's going on my to-do list. Also, I forgot to mention last time that 9 is FANTASTICALLY VIBRANT and the colors are so rich and sumptuous! :D

Haha if it was someone we both know/seem to be chummy with I wouldn't have second thoughts of hijacking, but I got a bit shy since I don't know them much LOL but I was like OMG LOL KIM WHATTTT

Haha I like 7 for its quirkiness and levels and weird text and because it was a bit of a bitch to work with XD so you could say I'm biased haha. Actually all the Suite Francaise icons were quite the challenge due to the film's cinematography, which was BEAUTIFUL but relatively dark.

...who am I kidding I was just really super 100% rusty at the time LOL (not that I'm much better now but I'm...faster? LOL)
