(no subject)
10 years ago: 1995 - I spent countless hours with Jason mc laughlin, thinking we could one day rule the world. We obsessed over movies, swim team and music, while I, most likely, wore my lame “Disney world” shirt with workboots.
5 years ago: 2000 -I had an incredible time with all the PBCYG kids, going to shows and staying out all night at diners. Most of my time was spent in Wayne.
1 year ago: 2004 -after having being unexpectedly kicked out of out of my Haverstraw apartment, I ended up moving in with ryan’s grandma. She charged me no rent, yet she cooked for me and made sure we watch jeopardy, everybody loves Raymond and golden girls every night. It was the first summer in 6 years that I didn’t work at an outdoor pool.
Yesterday: I got my car inspected and dropped my poor cell phone for the last time. (new one on the way!) I went to ryan’s house and ate ice cream and watched nip/tuck and arrested development. Then we went to the warwick drive-in to see a double feature. We saw: wedding crashers, (for the 2nd time….this time we wrote down all the funny quotes) and the island. (good movie, although I fell asleep for an hour in the middle of it, and I’m pretty sure I didn’t miss anything.
Today: I got mad errands done and am currently procrastinating WNYK work. Soon I’ll go home to my apartment and shower and then bake brownies, sugar cookies and blueberry muffins before going to the beach.
Tomorrow: I’ll be at LBI with ryan, and a few of his friends from high school, praying for sun so I can get back the tan I had in mexico.

i haven't posted in a while, and sadly, that was my glorious return to the LJ world. [mission trip quotes are coming soon!]
i'm doing well. working at hdd, helping out at the Y and trying to get WNYK ready for next semester (which is almost damn near impossible) i spend most of my time avoiding contact with one of my roommates , going to the movies and trying not to suck with money (which usually means i'm avoiding walsh's on friday nights.) i've been away atleast once or twice a month and so funds are dwindling. and now, the store is closed until august 9th. i'll be away august14-21 and rent is due on sept1 AND i still don't have my wedding gift for ryan's brother and i am buying aaron's bed....
i am in dire need of a money quick fix.
ebay, anyone....?
oh, by the way, if you have called or text messaged me in the past day or two, i cannot respond as my phone is dead and am waiting for the new one. please don't think i hate you.
p.s-i miss the mission trip crew, the WNYK kids, and all the xABSx-ers who are far away.
