I love when insurance companies think you just take specific meds for shits and giggles--oh, and to cost them money, of course. Nah, the drugs you take to keep yourself alive are entirely optional and can be discontinued whenever the insurance doesn't feel like paying for them anymore ( Read more... )

I've been hearing a lot of this lately.
and I'm currently without insurance.
To think I had lamictal sitting around for years. I think I recently got rid of it. I took myself off of it back in like 2004. and I had a 3 months supply.

I agree that insurance companies can be extremely annoying. Thankfully for me AstraZeneca has that patient assistance program. I get my asthma meds for free due to making next to nothing.

I am sorry.. I work for an insurance co.. and I know it's kind of the way it is.. You have to jump through hoops to get things processed correctly. It's a flawed corrupt system.

If there's anything I can help you with let me know..

*hugs* i know how you feel. I just swtiched insurance and now a day like no insurance covers birth control, even tho i need it for other reasons which they don't care about so i end up paying for it in full out of pocket every month. hope things get better for you.
