Social Observation: Random Niceness

Here's something I've always wondered: why do people commit random acts of courtesy and kindness when they have no substance? Now before you get all 'We Are The World' on me, hear me out. Hrmmm... While I personally am not up for 'fighting' 'senseless' acts of kindness to make a point... I learned the hard way that you have a point. :P

So yay for random acts of kindness that ARE meaningful. :)

You know, I love it when my friends respond to comments and stuff.. but on this particular entry, I think I was hoping I'd hear your opinion the most. Haha.
