I guess I think of it as shaking of the head, although honestly it (as is the way of the Internet Acronym) has devolved into sort of a vague gesture of disapproval. idek.

I like "so much hate" though.

Well, obviously the hating is my true soulsong.

Confession time: I kind of only made my way onto the online scene a few years ago, and so missed the ~formative ~teen ~years of online lingo. Hence multiple urban dictionary searches. Anyway, I feel like 'smh' was one of the ones that confused me; I remember looking it up, and seeing 'shaking my head' as the definition. It has stayed as such in my head ever since, I guess. (Fluidly so.)

But. SO MUCH HATE >>>>>> shaking my head by FAR. Preconceived notions be damned, 'smh' shall henceforth be known as 'so much hate' in the brain of me. Incomprehensive polling!!!!! :P

LOL OMG FOR THE LONGEST TIME I THOUGHT IT WAS "SO MUCH HATE" BUT THEN I DISCOVERED THAT MOST PEOPLE MEAN "SHAKING MY HEAD" AND I WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT THE WORLD DID NOT HATE AS MUCH AS I THOUGHT IT DID.
