Further Experiments

I have been experimenting with traps, and have managed to capture a few varieties of wild fowl. I wonder if they taste like chicken?

I'll totally try them! As long as .... well, you don't let Inui-senpai prepare the sauce.

You may have one of the birds, then.

Sweet! One without sauce, right?

I'm sure you could get the sauce ...separately.

Do they lay eggs? I could go for an omelet.

I don't have the expertise to sex the birds, but I can keep some of them around to see if they lay.

I think I watched something on the Discovery Channel about it once...but...it was gross.

Sexing birds or them laying eggs?

I think one of them might actually be a wild chicken given the feathers.

Shall I make a glaze? I know this fantastic tangy sauce.

I thought so too. One of the other ones is a quail. I have them penned in a corner of the laboratory cave, for now.

That sounds good.

I'm rather fond of the quail. May we keep it?

It is a little more gamey than normal chicken. But it's edible.

I see. Which of the wild fowl here is more worth eating, in your opinion?
