I somehow escaped the JTT craze. I remember all of my friends had pictures of him in their lockers in, like, fifth grade.

Yes! Looking back, I don't even get it now. I mean, he was a cute kid, but...maybe I'm biased now because he didn't so much grow up to be a cute adult? :p

Of course, too, now that we're older, we don't see "attractive" so much as "kid" -- which doubtless colors things. (I haven't seen a recent picture of him, I think.)

I'm suddenly remembering having a huge crush on Christian Slater, though.

Hahaha. Well, yes. There's that, too.

I think I missed out on Christian Slater. I never even saw Heathers until I was a lot older. I was definitely one of those Teen Bop/Tiger Beat kids, I'm only slightly ashamed to say. I loved the Lawrence brothers. :p

Of course this might be because I didn't start watching Saved By The Bell until it was in re-runs and I was a teenager. All I did was mock it.

Heh. My friend was trying to tell me that clearly everyone loved Slater more and I begged to differ.

Oh, man, but YouTube is making me so happy now. I definitely did watch the show as a little kid and I loved it, but I'm having a great time mocking all of it right now. With love! Mocking with love! :p

Hahahaha. That is ridiculously hilarious to me. Especially since now the only thing I can remember Andrew Keegan being in is 10 Things I Hate About You. He was total teen heartthrob material, though, in his day. I think? :D

I can't mock. I can't remember who I lusted after, but I'm sure that it was terribly embarrassing since I fawned over Tiger Beat and Seventeen. :)

Yeah... so who liked Slater more? I love how no one has voted for him on your poll yet. Also, I'm sorry, but the show is so embarrassing to watch now. In every single youtube clip you have here, I can't get through the whole thing because I just feel so bad that the clothing and hair styles have been recorded for everyone to mock for all eternity in reruns (and now youtube... double trouble...).

In response to an earlier comment, I'm pretty sure his name was Will Friedle.

Heh. I was chatting with a friend in gmail and she and her co-worker believed Slater was superior. SHE IS CLEARLY WRONG.

And isn't it so bad? It is kind of hard to watch, except for how I still kind of love it and its horrible badness. I think the one where the whole school is dancing in the hallways to Zack's song is my favorite. Who does that?

And thank you on the Friedle. I could just look it up, but...lazy. :p

Hee. Zach Morris, plz. AC Slater's a tool. And I love that "I'M SO EXCITED! I'M SO...SCARED!" has become, like, one of the top pop culture quotes of our generation. STAY AWAY FROM DRUGS, KIDS! You could get hooked in, like, a day!

Man, "Saved By The Bell." It's almost as awesome as "Boy Meets World."
