So I see that there's a Fischer story I haven't read yet. Of course I *must* read it at once. Summary says that Fischer gets a cat. Well, ok. So I read it.
This? Is wonderful! Poor Robert, so lost and yet slowly managing to put himself back together. With a little help from Cat of course.
Robert so deserves a happy ending.

I could not agree with you more. Fischer *definitely* deserves a happy ending! I've only watched the movie twice (hah, that's more than I've watched most movies...), but Cillian's character was just so...I don't know. All of the characters are real, but Fischer is just...You feel for him or something. I'm sure you know what I mean, seeing as I can't seem to articulate my thoughts XD

This was really nice! I find it hard pressed to not like anything with cats, to be fair, but your Fischer is really nicely done. I like how he's still so uncertain about what to do. Lovely piece!
