hit and run

Mar 31, 2006 11:41

this morning, a bird flew into the side of my forehead while i was walking. it felt weird--a ball of semi-hard fur that thumped on my right temple. when i turned to look at it, it was flying so fast it looked like a blur. it seemed like he or she is chasing/flying after another bird.

But generally, we don't take notice of them

That's not true...I see tons of pigeons in different countries, and I'm often aware of their existence.

But Iater, I also thought of how lucky I am for not getting hit by the beak first....scary...

you are usually pretty observant of people, animals, and insects....which shows that anthropology is right for you? :-)

May be the birds had a bet as to who can go kiss your cheek first. ;-)

When we were little, sometimes we played games where the first one who ran and touched some pre-designated object would be the winner. So all kids run fast to touch it first. Ha ha ha. Fun times.

hahahaha :D well, that bird definitely kissed the wrong spot then!!! :P

haha...that running and touching the object game sounds like fun. I wonder how many times the kids bump into each other and then fall down on the ground?
