Ok, I have waited months for this op. It has taken a lot of arranging to get Olly looked after and trying to make it so that Colin can be off work on Friday in case I do get out in one day. It was just sorted when I've just tried to get a repeat prescription and found that I have to see my doctor as the statins have been changed. The hospital

Dont fret yet Jan - it takes time for a cold to go to the chest - if at all - so it might not be cancelled.
If it looks iffy they maybe can put you antibiotics to help it going to your chest.

Wasn't that generous of the receptionist to share her/his cold with you? Tell you what, when you do get to the hospital stop by the xray dept. Go up to the receptionist and say "I think this must be yours" then let out a mega-sneeze.
