Good Lord, this is the second post today on LJ with people talking about having to put their corgi's down. :-(
poodler is taking his 14 1/2 year old Corgi to the vet this afternoon for the same reason. My heart is breaking.

p.s. you look really handsome in the last pic.

Well, you have to realize that once they get over 13, it's downhill from there. Mine died when he was 11. 15 years is a LONG time for a Corgi! By then, you really want to do it for the dog. They're just falling apart, and you wonder what kind of pain they're in. It's not like they're happy puppies that bounce around, full of life. Give Buck a sleeping pill, and that's pretty much how they are at 15, but all day long, every day. Very sad.
