Poll Mix CDs as Wedding Favors
I have mixed feelings about wedding favors. They remind me of the goodie bags you got as a kid when you went to a birthday party.

But, I kinda like the idea of the mix CD.

Firstly, it's cheaper than your average wedding favor. I mean, $1.70 for a crappy candle that no-one will ever bother lighting times 100 guests = $170 on something no-one cares ( Read more... )

I think it's a cute idea. I know a few people who have done it, and I'd much rather listen to a CD than look at a candle. If I wanted a candle, I could buy one myself! With a CD, it's personalized because the songs mean something to you. Plus, it'll remind everyone of the fabulous time that they had at your wedding! ;)

The only thing it might not work for would be a grandma or something that is like "what are these kids listening to these days??" But I like it. :)

Besides my grandma, we're not really going to have any grandparents at the wedding and I don't think she'd want a CD anyway. If it ain't Bollywood or religious stuff, she don't care!

I think it's a cute idea...I know I would like to receive one at a wedding. Plus it's cool that it will feature music played on the day...

I think it's cute... actually, that's what Jake and I are doing! :c) Music is such a big deal to us, same for you and Dan. I think it IS more personal. <3 it!

LOVE the idea. Most people just throw out wedding favors. But with this idea they'll have some songs to remember the good time they had at your wedding. :)
