Because everyone can use a distraction once in a while, I give you a meme.
Comment and I will pick 3 things from your Interests list for you to explain a little about.
I got this from
Joely-jo who picked the following three: Kids in the Hall, Personal Evolution and Popcorn
Kids in the Hall:
Kids in the Hall were a Canadian comedy troupe made up of: Dave Foley, Scott Thompson, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney and Bruce McCullough. Their sketch comedy show ran on HBO and CBS for 5 years from 1989-1994. They had no issue with dressing like women, they were funny, they were a little nerdy and I had a mad crush on Dave at the time. I could go into a list of my favorite recurring characters or sketches, but it would be too long. I got to see them perform live in New York City in 2000, I had been worried they would have lost some edge, but they were still quite good.
It’s available on DVD if you have never checked them out and are a fan of sketch comedy, it is well worth it. Sometimes comedy central reruns episodes as well. They also did a movie called “Brain Candy” I don’t recommend it, it sucked.

Personal Evolution:
The world around us is evolving, we are evolving. Personal evolution is the changes we each go through during our lifetime and most importantly the acknowledgment of them. It’s inevitable that we grow, change and hopefully mature. I’m not sure how many of us consciously pay attention to our own evolution. Look at yourself ten years ago; what were you doing, what was important to you, what were your aspirations? What are you doing now, what is important to you now, what do you aspire to? Look deep within yourself, what don’t you like? What can you do about it? Can you change or do you need to accept who you are? This applies to both good and bad aspects of us. Personal evolution involves looking at our own faults, the shadow if you will and acknowledging they exist, determine if we can change and moving on to not allow them to hold us back. In a nutshell, Personal evolution is awareness of where you have been, where you are and where you are going.
Popcorn:
I’d like to say that popcorn is just the snack, but really it’s not. Popcorn became a code word between me and my friend Sandy for stupid drama. We were in a study group that became more soap-opera like then anything else. Toward the end, people were getting catty with each other. One day Sandy and I observed that going to study-group was more entertaining than going to the movies. Sandy shows up at the next meeting with a bag of cheddar popcorn and sits next to me. As soon as the “regulars” started whipping out the claws, she opens the bag tilts it towards me and says, “Popcorn?” Thus, popcorn became synonymous with stupid-people real-life drama. Of course popcorn can also relate to fandom!wank.
