‘Oh Aiden..’ Suddenly everything was quiet in the room. I was just about to hit reality when it hit me right in the face. ‘You said HIS name during sex? What the fuck, Matt!’ She said disgusted. I just realized what I did. Fuck, I sure did screw his up. Badly. ‘I’m sorry, I didn’t mean that.’ I mumbled. ‘I was just thinking-’ ‘You were thinking of him while having sex with me!’ I couldn’t argue with that. It was true. I was thinking of him. ‘Oh god. Just get out. We are so over!’ ‘What? No, Sarah. I’m sorry. I don’t know why I did that. Please, forgive me.’ ‘No, I won’t! You disgust me! Just get the hell out of my house.’ She’s disgusted with me? Or is she just disgusted by gay men? Just the thought of it made me furious. ‘You know what Sarah? I don’t even regret it.’ I got out of bed, quickly got dressed and left the house as soon as possible.
Once I was outside I lit up my cigarette and called Ali. ‘You’ll never guess what just happened.’ I said immediately. ‘Try me.’ He answered. I told him everything. I knew I could tell him everything, he was my best friend. I waited for Ali to answer me when I heard him laughing his arse off. ‘Oh mate, you said his name.’ He laughed out loud. ‘You are a fucking legend!’ He added. ‘Shut up!’ ‘So when are you going to tell Aiden about it?’ ‘How about never. Sounds like a great plan to me.’ ‘You have to tell him sometime, Matt. And when you do, please, for the love of god, kiss the guy.’ ‘I will think about it.’ ‘Yeah you go do that.’
The next day I walked towards Aiden’s house. I wasn’t sure how I was going to tell him but I knew I had too. But when I finally got there I was shocked what was happening. Sarah was standing there in front of Aiden yelling. I rushed towards them. ‘I hate you! You fucking bastard, you ruined everything!’ Aiden remained calm and stood there, clueless about what was happening. ‘Sarah, calm the fuck down.’ I said to her. She turned around to face me. ‘Guess who’s here! I was surprised I didn’t find you in his bed!’ ‘Hmm, that does sound like a good idea.’ I immediately regret what I just said but I was angry how she was so against gay people. She knew Aiden was gay, but she didn’t expect it from me. Well I am bi, not gay but that wasn’t the point. ‘What is going on, Matt?’ He asked me. ‘You didn’t tell him, did you? Oh this is going to be fun.’ ‘Shut up, Sarah!’ ‘While we had some good sex, well it wasn’t even that good, he decided to moan out your name instead of mine.’ Oh god. I turned to face Aiden who turned bright red. ‘Thanks a lot, Sarah. Bitch.’ I was about to turn around when I heard Aiden laughing. ‘What the hell are you laughing about!’ She almost screamed. She pushed him backwards and walked away in fury.
‘Yeah, what are you laughing about. Because of you, she broke up with me.’ I laughed and tried to look sad, which I completely failed at. ‘You really said my name?’ He asked shocked. ‘Yes I did. And you know what? I don’t even regret it.’ Without hesitating I closed the gap between us and touched his lips with mine. Aiden’s lips were irresistibly soft and slowly he opened his mouth. I licked his bottom lip and I felt Aiden’s hand stroking my neck, pulling me closer. I started smiling and deepened the kiss.
I pulled away, maybe even too soon. ‘Do you regret this?’ He asked me. ‘Not even a tiny bit. If I could I would do it over and over again.’ ‘Hmm, I wouldn’t mind that.’ I smiled but got interrupted by my phone. It was Ali. ‘What’s up, twat?’ ‘Did you kiss him already?’ I looked up to face Aiden. ‘I just did.’ ‘Fuck, why didn’t you tell me! Why did you stop the kiss? Go kiss him again, I won’t interrupt you any longer!’ I threw my mobile in the grass and focused on Aiden. ‘You really wouldn’t mind me doing that again?’ ‘Just shut up and do it.’
