HBP recipes!

This is kind of hard, because a lot of these recipes don't have a recipe, per se.   I don't know the exact amounts, and it sort of changes every time I make it.   So, these are by no means scientifically formulated.   In fact, all the spices are totally estimated- I'd start with that much, and then adjust to taste.

I just provide the following tips!

Make sure your cake mix is butter recipe, not pudding in the mix. Although it will work eventually, there will be doctoring involved!

Make sure you clean and rinse your wild rice before using. And then make sure you skim off any hulls or anything that floats to the top of the water prior to using.

7 cups of Special K or cornflakes
1 cup sugar
1 cup light karo syrup
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
dash vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter chips

Bring the sugar and corn syrup to a boil. Remove from heat and add peanut butter and vanilla. Stir until thoroughly combined.

Mix into cereal and press mixture into a greased cake pan.

Mix the chocolate chips and peanut butter chips together and melt in the microwave. Spread over the top of the bars, refrigerate until it sets.
