1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before?

Fell in love.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I try not to set myself up for failure.

Yes! (And Solveig is almost one already! Happy Birthday, tiny girl!)

4. Did anyone close to you die?

Not this year.

5. What countries did you visit?

I didn't put a toe out of the US, alas.

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005?

Um...motivation?

July 16 and December 7

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Achievement? Hmm. Maybe writing two plays? I don't know that I "achieved" any of the nice things that happened this year.

Not achieving much?

A couple colds, and my usual array of unexplainable bruises.

11. What was the best thing you bought?

Uhhh...hey, maybe the DVD that will play anything we burn from the Internet. No! My Hell Hath No Fury shirt! It's the best thing ever!

I celebrate all y'all. You, and you and you. Why not?

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

Too many to name, and all of them in positions of power.

14. Where did most of your money go?

Bills and groceries, I suppose.

Seeing my friends who came to visit, meeting Ben. The Hell Hath No Fury shirt.

Any Johnny Cash song.

I invented a new stringed instrument you pluck with your toes. WTF? I don't know.

A new kitchen.

I had about three birthday parties. I was 29.

Wait- sane? I think this was perhaps my greatest failure of the year.

Well, this is difficult. The most? I fancy many, and I would not wish to offend the others by singling one out.

Pretty much every action of the Bush administration. I would not wish to offend the others by singling one out.

My brother, my family, my friends all over the country.

Ben!

Do not attempt to predict your own behavior. I think I knew this before, but I really know it now.
