Dale Appreciation Post
This is an appreciation post for the best damn dog anyone could ever have asked for.
His name is Dale and he's a black lab/chocolate lab mix.
He turned 13 last August, which is pretty good for a dog of his breed.
He's always sitting with his front paws crossed- he's a very proper puppy.
He doesn't care if we do weird shit to him (like put bras on his back).
He's just happy to get attention and spend time with us.
He's fantastic with kids/other animals/everyone basically.
He doesn't have a mean bone in his body.
And he LOVES spending hot summer days under the jutted-out closet on the porch.
But he's old and he has two tumours and it's getting hard for him to walk and breathe. I know he's going to have to be put down (or he's just going to die) soon and it makes me tear up just thinking about it. He's the best dog I've ever had and I know I will never have another dog as great as him. I'm going to miss him so much when he's gone.
If you actually read all that, you're either really patient or really nosy, but either way *passes out cookies* you deserve treats!
