i do have a question, i hope you don't mind, for the blended icons- 41 is the one i'm looking at now- do you just erase the base until it looks nice to you or do you have another way? I hope you don't mind me asking, I've seen it done a lot lately, and was wondering how to do it myself. :) thanks for any help shown this way.
Well, sometimes I do delete the base but in this case it's a lot simpler - it's just using the Lighten blending mode for the upper layer. You just need to make sure that the area that you want blended (in this case, Arthur's face :D) is over an area which is dark in the bottom layer.
