< font color=#3366cc >Of all the horribly embarrassing things Zafer had ever done, of all the times Aidan had filled him with unspeakable, indescribable rage this was easily the worst

Aidan was busy making funny faces at everyone in the lobby, his face and well, whole body hidden behind a Santa Claus outfit, complete with wig, beard and ridiculous poofed fake stomach underneath the red suit. Seeing Zafer's "angry face", he gave a chuckle and leaned in his head close to the reindeer's ear.
"It's not my fault you didn't fit the elf costume, Princess." His tone sounded almost apologetic. Almost did not mean much to Aidan. Both of the college students were carrying giant brown bags of random wrapped presents, things Aidan had picked up after arrangements with a store in London. Luring Zafer out on a "mission of dire importance, Princess!", he'd given the brunette a choice of staying in the car as the Christmas grinch or coming into the hospital to help with distributing the gifts.
Obviously, Zafer was now regretting his choice but by the time he'd realized the costumes, well, it was too late wasn't it?
< font color=#3366cc >It was a good thing Zafer was as mature and stoical as he was, otherwise he'd be visibly fuming by now. As it was, he gave Aidan a veritable growl and glared straight ahead.
"Hurry up. Let's just get to where we need to be, ok."
"You do need to work on your holiday spirit! This is an excellent opportunity!" Aidan leads the way down the halls, stopping by the nurse's station for the children ward floor.
"Nurse Carlton!" Greetings are exchanged and Aidan and Zafer are waved on through to the doors that separate them from the children waiting.
"Ready?" Aidan gives him a wink before pushing the doors open.
< font color=#3366cc >Zafer gave Aidan a look which said very clearly "one day I will rearrange your small intestines because I think they'll look great wrapped around your neck" (Zafer's looks could be very specific sometimes) and followed him into the children's ward.
At first, Zafer was surprised to see the looks of confusion (and, in some cases, outright terror) on the children's faces. And then he remembered that instead of Santa, they were meeting an odd impersonator and a murderous looking anthropomorphic Rudolph, and forced his face to relax into a sort of awkward smile.
He nodded at the closest child and she smiled back at him, revealing a mouth half-filled with baby-teeth. His stomach began filling with that uncomfortably nice feeling he'd began to associate with doing Good Deeds and he looked away.< /font >
